The company started out as a hat makers and rubber products manufacturer under the company name of "Choong Wah Hats & Rubber Goods Manufactory on 1st January 1956. After nearly four decades under the name "Swan rubber Products (Ipoh) Sdn Bhd." Its present main activities are producing rubber products to be use in industries involved in palm oil refinery, sugar refinery, rice mill, water treatment, food processing, electronic rubber parts, castor wheels, seals and "O" ring for both hydraulic and sanitary sewage applicants, rubber snow chain, multi-usage cat mat etc.
